Hitch Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for 2009 Toyota RAV4 for Cargo Area Access
Question:
I want the S64683 rack, but would like to make sure the rear door could swing fully open when there isnt a bike loaded and the rack tilted. Sounds like it could based on some other QandA but thought I might have missed something. Hitch will be your etrailer that fits the 09 Rav4.

I have a great option that will allow you to have rear cargo area acess in the same price range as the Swagman Chinook part # S64683 that you referenced but this rack won't give you the hatch clearance you are looking for.
Instead you'd want the Sportrack Ridge Swing part # SR2415 which can swing out with bikes loaded giving you complete cargo area access with or without bikes loaded.
This rack will fit the etrailer hitch part # e98864 you are wanting for your 2009 Toyota Rav4 as well. By the way this is the best option for your vehicle.
