Question:

I have a new 2011 Tundra 5.7 L Crewmax sr5. I tow a 4,000 lb trailer. Which Cooler, and fan do you reccomend? Should I add the fan and remove the factory fan?

This Derale Electra-Cool Combo Engine and Transmission Cooler Assembly w/ Fan # D15220 that you referenced is designed to cool the transmission fluid and engine oil of your vehicle and is traditionally used as a remote cooler application for vehicles that have tight clearances. A unit like this is usually not used if there is room in front of the radiator on the vehicle.

You will need to measure the area in front of your radiator to see what you have to work with, but if you plan on installing a cooler in front of your radiator I would recommend you install a Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler # D15902 as this would go right in front of your radiator.

I attached FAQ articles on engine coolers and transmission coolers for you to check out also.
