Recommended Shank with More Drop for Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System
Question:
I purchased this kit a few months ago and installed it on my vehicle / trailer. It works great. It pulled the back of the truck back up where it should be and all but eliminates sway, but the shank doesnt offer enough drop for my trailer to ride level. The tow vehicle is a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder and the factory receiver is absurdly high for a stock vehicle. Is a different shank with more drop available that is compatible with the 66082 kit?

We definitely have weight distribution shanks available that will provide the drop you need and work perfectly with your Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66082.
I recommend taking a look at the Reese Weight Dist Shank # RP3215. This 13 inch long shank will provide you with up to a 5-3/4 inch drop (or a rise of 11-1/2 inches).
If you need even more drop, you can get the Reese Shank # RP3344 which will give you up to a 7-5/8 inch drop. This particular shank can only be used in the drop position and does also have a minimum drop setting of 6-3/8 inches.
