Guide for Adding Brakes to a Pop Up Camper Axle
Question:
I have a 2004 Palamino Pony pop-up camper. Weight from factory is 1285 lbs. Max weight 2300 lbs. Tire size is 5.30 x 12. Need to know which brake and hub assembly to use. The camper did not come with brakes from the factory.

Adding brakes to a trailer's axle is normally pretty simple but you first want to make sure that your axles have brake flanges on them as that's the biggest factor in whether it will be a simple process or more involved. I attached a picture of what the flanges look like.
I also attached a help article that will walk you through the process of adding brakes to a trailer.
You'll want to figure out what spindle you have first so we can pick you out the correct hub/drum and then pick the assemblies out around that.
