How to Determine Which Circuit of License Plate Light Carries Power Circuit
Question:
i have a license plate light and it has two red wires comming from it into a plug i want to splice it into my trailer lighhts what wire is the live wire

You'd have to test the wires on the license plate light with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to determine which carries the power circuit.
