Troubleshooting Bearing Buddy Bras that Don't Want to Stay On
Question:
I have a random axle boat trailer with Bearing Buddy’s. Two of the plastic seal caps just don’t want to stay on the hubs! Is something wrong with them or is this just normal? No doubt one day one of them will come off when I am traveling and will be lost. Thanks,

Since it's just a friction fit that holds the Bearing Buddy bras on they can stretch over time and not fit perfectly. You'd want to replace them with the correct size. The part # BB1781 that you referenced which is for a hub bore of 1.781 inches uses the bra part number # BB17B.
