Does the Yakima Trunk Mount Rack Have the Ability To Carry a Womans Bike

Question:

Does the Yakima KingJoe 3 rack have the ability to carry a womans bike, being that the woman's bike does not have a cross bar? I hope so because this is the best trunk model I've seen. Thanks for your response as I am getting ready to invest in a carrier.

To be able to carry a woman's bike that does not have the horizontal cross bar, on the Yakima KingJoe 3 Bike Trunk Mount Rack, you will need to use the Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar, part # Y02531.

This Yakima adapter bar attaches to the center seat post and to the handlebar post of the bike and provides a horizontal bar, so the bike can ride level on the bike rack. I am including a link to the instructions on the adapter and a link to a video review of the adapter.
