Replacement Fan Blower Motor for an RV Air Conditioner Unit  

Question:

I have a carrier airV ac on my 2009 open range 5th wheel.the blower fan motor has gone bad and I can get no info about replacing it with a different brand motor? Or is it even possible?Cant really afford to replace the unit right now and we live in this unit full time and in South Carolina.any information about this would be awesome and gladly appreciated

I do have advice for you but unfortunately, we do not carry any replacement blower fan motors for any of our air conditioner units. I would also not be able to confirm if you can use one brand's motor in place of another though my guess would be no. I recommend checking with the manufacturer to see if the part you are looking for is able to be replaced. If not and you do decide to replace the entire unit or in the near future then the most cost effective option we have for you is the Advent Air Rooftop RV Air Conditioner part # ACM135.

The Advent unit is rated at 13,500 Btu's, has a removable air filter for easy maintenance, and three speed fan control. The installation will be rather simple with the included hardware and gaskets. It also has foam pads which mount between the RV and unit to prevent noise.
