If the backup solenoid is not working or the wire is not connected. Does that mean you will have no brakes at all?

Expert Reply:
If the Solenoid Valve for Titan Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts # T4748800 is not connected, the brake actuator will still work; however, the trailer brakes will lock up when you go in reverse. So you will need the solenoid in order to keep them from locking when you back up.
