Trunk Mounted 3-Bike Rack Recommendation for 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have a Trek Scratch 8. I am looking at the Thule Outway and the Gateway, both in the 3 bike system for our Jeep Cherokee. We want to carry 3 mountain bikes, will either of those racks fit?

For your 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee the Thule OutWay part # TH56BV and the Gateway Pro part # TH78VR are both a confirmed fit and would work well. I'd recommend the Raceway though as it has a wider pad to distribute the weight of the bikes and the rack and because it uses rubber coated metal straps instead of fabric which makes it more secure.
If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
