Will Demco 16k Fifth Wheel Hitch Have Height Range that works for 2017 Ford F-350 Long Bed

I have been researching for the purchase of a fifth wheel rv and hitch. I have a 2017 f350 XLT 4x4 with 8ft. bed. I have looked repeatedly back and forth between the options available through etrailer. Currently I am leaning to choosing the Demco 16k hitch and rail kit don’t have 5th wheel prep on my rig. I aim to purchase the hitch then my rv and my only concern is centered around the hitch height adjustment. Models like the Curt go all the way to 13 inches while the Demco only goes to I believe 16. Is this something i need to be concerned with? Or will the Demco provide enough adjustment? Thank you.

For your 2017 Ford F-350 8 foot bed without the factory rail kit we have several hitches that will fit and work well. The Demco 16k hitch part # DM6076P-16K has a height of 16 to 19 inches which works for more applications but this is a slightly smaller and taller range than other hitches. Typically on newer trucks with taller bed rails though this wouldn't be an issue.

Our most popular option is the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3500 with the rail kit part # BWGNRK1116 which also doubles as a gooseneck. This has a range of 16-1/4 to 18-1/4 inch and works well for basically everyone who has it so the Demco range really should be just fine.

For a rail kit to go along with the Demco we have the custom install install kit part # DM8552031-71 which is a confirmed custom fit. This is better than the alternative which is a universal kit that will require a much longer install time and frame drilling.
