Replacement Braking Assemblies for Dexter 8-133 Axle
Question:
I have a trailer with a Dexter 8-133 axle. It has 12inch electric brakes with a 4 stud backing plate. I am looking for new brake assys left and right.

The only 12" braking assembly we offer with the four bolt brake mounting flange pattern is the Dexter Electric Brake Kit part # 23-105-106-09 which has an offset brake mounting flange pattern. If you have an offset brake mounting pattern and 2" wide brakes then these assemblies would be an exact replacement for you. However, if you do not have an offset brake mounting flange pattern and your brakes are not 2" wide then you would need to convert to a more standard 10 x 2-1/4" braking assembly like the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA. This option would also require you get new hubs/drums and in order to offer the correct ones for you we would need to know the dimensions of your spindle where the inner and outer bearings seat or the numbers off of them.
