If you want to upgrade your trailer tires both in terms of load capacity and size, your best option is to go with a 14 inch tire which would require you to replace not just your tires but also your wheels.

To do this, I recommend looking at an ST205/75-14 size tire. This tire size will have an overall diameter of 26.3 inches and a width of 8.1 inches. This is compared to the 24 inch diameter and 6.9 inch width on your current 175/80R13 tires. This means that the top of the new tire will be about 1.15 inches closer to the fender and just around 0.6 inches closer to the trailer frame. Generally you want to keep a minimum of around 3 inches of space between the top of the tire and the underside of your fender with the trailer under load.

I recommend taking a look at the Provider ST205/75R14 Radial Tire w/ 14 Inch White Mod Wheel # TA82MR.

This is a great radial tire that has a maximum load of 1,760 pounds at 50 psi and an excellent speed rating of 81 mph.
