Available Inno Roof Rack Fits for 2018 Honda HR-V with Flush Roof Rails

Question:

I have a 2018 Honda HR-V with flush mount rails that run from front to back. I am already in possession of INNO roof racks, the square version and am only in need of the mounts to the roof. Would the INNO kit #INXR be the correct application? Was unable to find weight restrictions. also tow bars for the same application states max GTW as 2000lbs, would like to verify that would indicate max towable weight. In another words towing a Porsche or similar vehicle using that tow attaching be not advisable? Thank you for your time

We offer three roof rack systems from Inno that fit the 2018 Honda HR-V with flush mount roof rails. Please note that none of these are square bar racks; all use Inno's Aero crossbars, which for your vehicle are available in three bar lengths. You can see all of these on the linked page.

With these racks you have a choice of a flush fit for the Aero crossbars with the rack feet or to have longer bars that extend out past the rack feet. The flush system uses 39-inch bars and consists of parts # INXB100-2, # INXS400 and # INTR159.

I checked with my technical contact at Inno who confirmed that there is no combination of parts to allow installation of their square crossbars on your vehicle.

As for the HR-V's towing capacity, we a light-duty Class I hitch for this car, Curt part # C11416 and a little stronger (as far as tongue weight) EcoHitch # 306-X7322, shown on the linked page. Both hitches are rated for a maximum towing weight of 2000-lbs. The online owner's manual for the car indicates on page 89 that attempting to tow with this vehicle may void the car's warranty since it is not designed for towing, so I really do not recommend it. You could, however, use a hitch for a bike rack or a cargo carrier if that would help.
