The Hatch Huggers for Saris Trunk Mount Bike Racks part # SA3035 are required when using the Saris Bike Porter 2 Bike Rack part SA312B on your 2016 Hyundai Veloster because it has a glass hinge line and the hooks included with the Porter 2 could potentially cause damage to the glass. The Hatch Huggers are made of foam so you will not need to worry about damage to your glass hinge.
