I do have an option for you but the Bestop TrekStep Truck Bumper Step part # B7530715 is not a confirmed fit for your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. Instead, you will want to use the Bestop TrekStep Truck Bumper Step part # B75300 which is the same step listed above except for it can only be installed on the driver's side of the bumper and it is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. We also have a side mounted truck bed step for your vehicle using the Bestop TrekStep Side Mounted Truck Step part # B7540015.
These steps are both spring loaded like you mentioned and offer a direct bolt-on installation. They also have a three year warranty. I have attached an install video for you.
