Will Curt Echo Brake Controller Work on 2009 Ford Ranger?

Has anybody successfully used this on a Ford truck? I have a 2009 Ranger. Thanks!

Yes, you can use the Curt Echo Brake Controller # C51180 on your 2009 Ford Ranger. Brake controllers are universal but we have it in a fit guide because for some vehicles it is essentially the only option.

To use the Echo on your '09 Ranger you need a 4-way, so if your Ranger does not have a factory trailer connector you can use the 4-Pole Hardwire Kit # 18252; if you do have a factory connector you need Wiring Harness # C55384. Finally, you will also need Installation Kit # ETBC7L, which will give you a 7- and 4-way trailer connector, circuit breakers and the rest of the hardware needed to install a brake controller.
