5th Wheel Hitch Needed for a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Northstar Flatbed
Question:
Is there any special adapters needed to install a reese 15k 5th wheel hitch on a 2008 dodge 2500 long bed with a northstar flatbed?

If the flatbed on your 2008 Dodge Ram Pickup has the same thickness and dimensions of a standard bed then you might be able to install the Pro Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Rails # PS30128 as a universal option but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to confirm a fit.
Typically for flatbed applications we recommend installing the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Flatbed Trucks # BWGNRK1500 and then using the B&W Companion # BWRVK3050 to tow your 5th wheel trailer. The gooseneck hitch requires welding (by a professional) and a 4" diameter hole to be cut in the bed. This option is more likely to fit than the 5th wheel setup mentioned above.
I have attached some review videos for you to reference as well.
