Question:

What strap would you recommend for a 27 foot boat that weighs 6500 lbs? Just snapped mine yesterday...

In order to recommend the correct replacement winch strap for you, I would need to know a bit more about your winch like the drum and weight capacity. The drum capacity will tell me what the max width and length is whereas the weight capacity will tell me what the strap needs to be rated for.

For example, the Fulton Heavy-Duty Winch Strap with Hook part # FWS20HD0200 measures 20' long x 2" wide and has a 4,000 lb safe working limit. Please note that because the boat is considered a rolling load and you more than likely have bunk boards on your boat trailer, the winch/strap can be rated for much less than the weight of your boat.

Once you can provide with more information on the winch, I would be glad to confirm which replacement strap is best for you. However, I have attached a list of our replacement winch straps for you in the meantime.
