We recommend that the bearings, races, and seals on a trailer be inspected and repacked every 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first). The bearings and seals only need to be replaced if you notice any damage such as nicks, dents, metal discoloration, etc. Otherwise they can simply be repacked and installed back onto the hub and spindle.
I have attached a great article that details this process that you might find helpful.
I spoke with my contact at Dexter and she was unable to find any information on your trailer's axle using the serial number you provided. It does look like there might be a missing number, as the serial number usually consists of 9 digits. In order to determine the correct replacement bearings (if needed), you can also just pull a hub and check for the numbers that should be stamped right inside the bearings themselves.
It looks like your Aliner Ranger trailer is equipped with a 2,500 pound axle. The most common bearing size for this type of axle is the # L44643 for both the inner and outer bearing, which has an inner diameter of 1 inch. This may be what you have, but you will want to verify before obtaining replacements as there are a couple other possibilities as well.
I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection of trailer bearings, races, and seals that you can also look through.
