Selecting Slide Topper Awning and Exterior Ladder for 2018 Keystone Hideout 31RBDS Travel Trailer
Question:
I have 2018 keystone hideout 31 RBDS with two slides. Can you tell me what slide toppers I would need for each slide? Also, can you tell me if same trailer is able to have a exterior ladder?

Slide topper awnings should be chosen so that the topper extends at least 2-1/2-inches further outside the actual slider box on each side. Our main page for all such toppers is linked for you. I checked the specs for the 31RBDS on the Keystone website but no slider information is provided.
Just measure the width of your slider and then add this 5 inches of additional total width. So, for example, if your slide box measures 7-feet you could use a slide topper awning like the Solera # (black) or # LCV000163287 (white). These fit slider box widths from 80 to 85-3/4-inches.
Adding a ladder to an RV that does not have one is possible, but you'll want to confirm with the trailer manufacturer that your specific model can safely have one installed and also where to position it so that you can securely mount the ladder to the frame/structural members inside the trailer's outer skin. Our range of external RV ladders like # LA-401 is linked for you too.
