Troubleshooting Brake Lights Not Working on Tow Vehicle
Question:
Hi Guys, Im trying to get my brake lights working. I checked the tie in at the truck tail lights and found the blue squeeze on connectors. I put new inline connectors in. I also found a crack in I the insulation on the plug wires and changed them out to a new plug. but I still cant get my brake lights to work. I get running lights and left and right turn signals but now brake light. I did plug in a tester and tun/lights work what am I missing? any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks,

Sounds like you have a blown third brake light fuse on your tow vehicle if you can get all of the other functions to work but not the brake lights. Check out the fuse box of the vehicle and replace that fuse and you should see the lights work like they should.
