Replacement Actuator Recommendation for Atwood Drum Surge Brake Actuator

Question:

I need a master cylinder replacement for my surge brakes on my boat trailer. The master cylinder is Atwood 85786 for drum brakes. Do you have one?

We no longer can get Atwood surge brake actuators so the only option we'd have is an all new actuator like the Demco part # DM72VR which has a 6,000 lb capacity and is for drum brakes like what you have as well. This actuator is a lot less prone to issues than the Atwood you have.
