Can Turn Signals be Added to Vehicle Mirror with Aftermarket Tow Mirrors on Vehicle Without Them
Question:
I have standard paddle style mirrors with no turn signals or led reverse lights only power and defrost. i recently purchased tow mirrors with marker lights and reverse led lights. I hooked them up and only the power/defroster works and not the led/marker lights. Do I need to purchase additional wiring/harness? This is a 2017 silverado 1500 lt

What we have found is that if you can retain functions you currently have on a truck when installing aftermarket tow mirrors but you can't add any additional ones that aren't already there. If you contacted a Chevy dealer you might be able to have them add the wiring harness that allows the other functions to activate but that might end up costing you more than you'd like.
