I went out to the warehouse and assembled a etrailer 24x60 Folding Cargo Carrier, # e98874, to take some measurements. When in the folded down position, it measures 19-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest edge of the carrier. When folded up, it measures 9-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier. It is 8-3/4 inches from the hitch pin hole center to the bracket where the basket pivots.
