Thank you for your purchase of the Ultra-Fab electric trailer jack # UF38-944037.
This tongue jack includes a wired 7-way style plug for power, and it does indeed have a 2-year warranty. Since you purchased yours only a couple of months ago I suggest that before you uninstall it that you check your Silverado's power distribution box for a blown fuse. This is the most likely reason it has stopped working.
According to the online owner's manual for your truck (page 391) the trailer battery charge circuit, which is the one that powers the jack, is protected by the fuse in position 2, as shown in the linked fuse box diagram taken from that page. It is more likely that a fuse blew than that the jack itself is already damaged.
You can also directly test the jack by using a set of jumper cables and two short lengths of wire. Connect the jumper cables to the truck's battery and connect the other end to the two wires. You can then connect those two wires, power and ground, to the appropriate terminals on the 7-way plug. If it works with this direct power then you know all you need is a new fuse.
If it is indeed damaged then we will be glad to assist you per the 2-year warranty.
