Recommended Electric Jack for Boat Trailer

Question:

I would like to put an electic trailer jack on the front of my boat trailer. What do I need to purchase to do this? Currently it has the usual crank up type. Tongue weight to lift shouldnt exceed a few hundred pounds.

For an electric jack that will work great with your boat trailer, I highly recommend the Fulton XLT Powered Drive Trailer Jack # F141401. This is an electric, side-mount jack that will provide you with 14 inches of travel and a lift capacity of 2,500 pounds. This high capacity will allow the jack to work well below its limits on your trailer, which will lead to a longer lifespan. The jack also features a self-healing Sharkskin finish with a 1,200-hour salt spray rating that makes it ideal for boat trailers. This will be a simple bolt-on installation to the side of your trailer with its built-in mounting bracket and included hardware.

I have attached a short video demonstration on this jack that you can also check out.
