Hitch Bike Rack Similar to Thule T2 for Rear of Camper Trailer

Question:

I was going to weld a 2” receiver on the frame to the rear of my 5th wheel trailer to accommodate the Thule T2 Pro XT 2-Bike Hitch Rack that Etrailer sells. I was told that this bike carrier couldn’t be mounted to the back of the trailer. Have you any input on mounting this carrier on the rear of the trailer??

At the rear of a trailer or RV the ride quality is very rough when compared to the ride quality at the rear of a passenger vehicle. Reason being the suspension isn't as sophisticated and there is a longer distance between the rear axle and the rear of the trailer which exaggerates the movement of the trailer when hitting bumps. Because of that only a few bike racks were designed to be reinforced enough for that type of use. Thule does not recommend the use of their racks at the back of a trailer at all.

The most similar bike rack that is rated for that type of use is the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes part # KU84FR which would be a great option. It also only touches the bikes at the tire. I attached a review video for more info as well.
