Difference Between Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System # HT32215 and # HT32216

Question:

Looking at the Husky center line system for 600/6000. One system has a 2 5/16th ball and the other. 2” ball... only apparent difference. However the 2” ball one is more. What gives?

The Husky Center Line Weight Distribution Systems # HT32216 and # HT32215 referenced in your question are indeed identical except for the hitch ball size that is included. The # HT32216 includes the adjustable shank and compatible 2-5/16 inch torqued hitch ball, while the # HT32215 includes the shank and a torqued 2 inch hitch ball. The difference in price is simply based on demand and the manufacturer's listing.

When choosing a weight distribution system, the most important factor to consider is the total tongue weight of your setup. This number includes the loaded tongue weight of your trailer (as if loaded and ready to tow), along with any added cargo weight coming from behind the rear axle of your truck. Ideally, this number will fall somewhere near the middle of the operating range for the system you choose. If your total tongue weight is around 450 to 550 pounds, this Husky system will work perfectly, as it features a tongue weight capacity of 400 to 600 pounds.

I have attached a short video demonstration on this weight distribution system that you can also check out.
