I took a look at the online owner's manual for your 2017 Ram 3500 and found that there are a few different fuse locations you will want to check that are related to the trailer signal lights. There should be a 20 amp blue fuse located in both the F28 and F29 position, as well as a 30 amp pink fuse located in the F30 position. These can be found inside the power distribution center in the truck's engine compartment. Check to make sure these fuses are present and in good condition.
If the fuses look good, then the lack of running lights on your trailer may have a different cause. If this is the case, I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test the running light pin on the Ram's 7-Way (11 o'clock) with this function activated on the truck. If you do receive power there, then the issue is actually on the trailer side. You will then want to check to make sure all your ground connections on the trailer are made to clean, bare metal surfaces free of any debris/corrosion. Also inspect the trailer's 7-Way itself for any debris that might be built-up behind the pins.
If you don't receive power at the Ram's 7-Way for the running lights, then the issue is indeed on the truck. Make sure the harness main ground is securely attached and inspect the wiring as far as you can from the connector for any pinched or damaged sections that need to be replaced.
If you still are unable to resolve the issue, please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further.
