Tips for Identifying Wire that Hangs Near 7-Way

I have a capped blue wire at my trailer connector at the rear bumper. What is that for.

That's really pretty hard to say. Best option would be to test it with a circuit tester while someone applies various turn signals to see if it ever has power. If you have a brake controller you could hit the manual override lever to see if that puts voltage on it. It could also be a dedicated third brake light signal used for powering third brake light of camper shell too.
