Trailer Tire Replacement for Tire Size B78-13ST
Question:
Hello, I need to replace the tires on my 1999 Coleman Santee pop up. Stock tire was a B-78-13ST, I believe a ST 175/80D13 will also work. This tire rated for 1,610 pounds. Trailer dry weight is 1700 pounds. Please advise if this tire would indeed be a correct replacement or would you recommend another tire and secondly is this load correct being two tires doubles the load capacity?

Expert Reply:
For a B78-13 trailer tire, the closest match we will have will be a 185/80-13. The best option in that size is # AM1ST79 which has a capacity of 1,710 lbs at 65 psi. So it would be more than enough.
I attached a review video for this tire for you to check out as well.
