Is SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System Transferrable Between Cars?

Question:

How long does this take the average person to install this? once installed does it stay in the vehicle during normal driving? and is it transferable to a different vehicle should you want to switch cars. i have a 2011 Tahoe i flat tow now and im thinking of switching to this brake system. thanks

The SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243 is not transferable between vehicles and once it gets installed it is there during normal driving but will not have any effect on your Tahoe whatsoever.

As for how long it takes a normal person to install, that is not something I would be able to quantify; there are simply too many variables. Someone with a bit of mechanical know-how could do it, but there are some involved aspects, as you can see by the linked directions. I recommend checking those out to determine if this is something you would feel comfortable doing yourself.
