I do have some possible solutions for you, however there is not a standard trunk-mounted bike rack available that is confirmed to fit your 2016 Nissan Rogue that features the rear spoiler. The spoiler on this particular model vehicle is simply not strong enough to support the tension from a trunk mounted bike rack.
Another available option that wouldn't require you to purchase any additional parts like a roof rack or trailer hitch is the SeaSucker Komodo Trunk Bike Rack # 298-BK1910-SV. This isn't your traditional trunk bike rack, as it uses unique vacuum cups that will conform to your Nissan's surface and provide you with a fork-mount carrier that you can use to transport 1 bike of up to 45 pounds. This is confirmed to work on your Nissan Rogue.
I have attached a short video demonstration of this rack on a vehicle similars to yours so you can see exactly how it works.
Otherwise, your best option for transporting bikes will be with a trailer hitch and hitch-mounted bike rack.
For a trailer hitch that is confirmed to fit your Nissan Rogue, I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III # 75902. This Class III hitch will use existing holes in the vehicle's frame for a no-drill installation and will provide you with a 2 inch receiver opening perfect for hitch-mounted accessories like a bike rack.
I have attached an installation video on your vehicle that you can use for reference.
Then for a hitch-mounted rack, I really like the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack # S64683. This platform-style carrier can handle 2 bikes of up to 45 pounds each and features spring-loaded levers that will let you tilt the rack down (with the bikes still loaded) for easy rear cargo access. A bike and hitch lock are also included to secure everything into place and help deter theft.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this rack so you can get a closer look at its features. I have also attached a link that will take you to our available selection of hitch-mounted bike racks that you can look through.
