Does Brophy Ball Mount Have Different Weight Capacity When Used in Rise Position
Question:
Brophy Ball Mount for 2inch Hitches - 4-3/4inch Rise, 6inch - 8-1/8inch Long - 7.5K Item # BM68C. I recently purchased the above mount. The standard 6inch configuration states a 7500 GTW. What is the GTW for the 4 3/4inch rise configuration. Your videos say nothing about this. Love my hitch. lites, mount, and ball.

When used in the rise position, the Brophy Ball Mount # BM68C referenced in your question will maintain its 7,500 pound towing capacity and 750 pound tongue weight capacity. The capacity for this ball mount will remain the same whether you are using it for its 6 inch drop or 4-3/4 inch rise.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
