Recommended Trailer Valet XL for Moving 4500 lb Trailer with 2 Inch Ball
Question:
hi, I am looking for recommendations on what to use to move my travel trailer. It is 28long and 4500lbs. I just need to be able to bring in into the alley way and turn it. They build a fence across the alley so our truck would not be able to maneuver the trailer with out us taking a section of our fence out. Would you recommend just the dolley with the 2ball or should it be the crank valet. thank you

For your 28 foot long trailer weighing 4500 lbs, I most definitely recommend the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive - 2" Hitch Ball - 1,000 lbs TW # TVXL2. This will allow you to use the drill adapter to use a cordless drill to do the work for you. Moving and maneuvering that trailer without that drill adapter (which is included) will require some cranking but can still be done. This also has an automatic brake so you won't have the trailer pushing or pulling you as you attempt to maneuver it. I've attached some videos to assist.
The hand dollys are only for use with really small trailers with a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball.
