Truck Bed Bike Rack for a 2001 Chevy Silverado with Undercover Flex Tonneau Cover

Question:

I have a 2001 Silverado with 6.5 ft bed with an undercover flex tonneau cover and pull a travel trailer. Is there a rack for the bed that will work with the tonneau cover to allow me to carry 2 ,12 ft kayaks above the bed?

We do have some truck bed bike racks that will work for your 2001 Chevy Silverado with the Undercover Flex Tonneau cover. Because the Tonneau cover has side rails mounted to the sides of the beds there isn't an over the bed rack that will work.

What you can do instead is use a tailgate pad such as # SR26457. This will allow you to tide down the kayaks while protecting them and the tailgate without having to remove the Tonneau cover (though it will have to be folded up).
