Weight Distribution System to Tow 2018 Forest River Wolf Pup 16BHS with 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
Hi, I have a 2018 Forest River Wolf Pup 16BHS camper and 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with factory towing package. I need a recommendation for the WD with anti sway system. Jeep does have some sway reduction system, but I am not sure is adequate. Is EQ37060ET adequate system for my trailer and TW combo? Thank you.

If you were to load your 2018 Forest River Wolf Pup 16BHS up to the max GVWR (which is 3,877 lbs) then the tongue weight (TW) of your trailer should be 380 lbs - 585 lbs. When you choose a weight distribution (WD) system you base it off of the loaded TW of your trailer as well as any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle (2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited). You can find the TW of your trailer with the TW Scale # e99044 on our site or with one of the methods highlighted in the attached article.
The Equal-i-zer # EQ37060ET that you referenced has a TW range of 200 lbs - 600 lbs so it should be exactly what you need but it is always best to know what your actual weights are before purchasing a WD system. This system comes with a 2" hitch ball and it is recommended to use a 1-7/8" thin-walled socket like part # EQ70-00-4800 to install it.
Attached is a review video of this WD system as well as some helpful articles that you can reference.
