The gross trailer weight (GTW) and tongue weight (TW) capacities of the trailer hitch receiver you have on your 2015 Toyota Sequoia should be printed on the unit itself. If it is a factory trailer hitch receiver then it may also be located in the owner's manual. The only trailer hitch receiver we have for you is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13442 which is a Class III hitch with a 6,000 lb gross trailer weight (GTW) and 600 lb tongue weight (TW) rating. However, if you will be using this trailer hitch receiver with a weight distribution system then the gross trailer weight (GTW) and tongue weight (TW) ratings increase to 10,000 lbs and 1,000 lbs respectively.
The above hitch will likely be rated much higher than the factory trailer hitch receiver on your Sequoia so if you need the extra capacity then this would be the best option for you as there is no way to increase the weight capacity of the trailer hitch receiver without using a weight distribution system. The hitch must also be rated for use with a weight distribution system. I have attached an article on weight distribution for you.
Please keep in mind that if the Sequoia's towing capacity is rated for less than the trailer hitch receiver, this will be the rating you need to abide by.
