Trailer Tire Recommendation to Replace a P215/75R15
Question:
My original equipment is P215/75R15 trailer tire for an older kZ sportsman 2505 Quad bunk. The ST225/75R15 rubs the inner fender. The weight is 7,000 lbs. Can I go to the standard ST205/75/15 for this trailer ? Thank you,

Expert Reply:
Yes your smartest option would be to go down to the ST205/75-15 tire size as it will be an inch narrower and shorter in diameter. For that the Westlake tire ST205/75R15 part # LHWL300 would be your best option. It has a 75 mph speed rating, 8-ply rating and 2,150-lb max load at 65 psi, and comes with a 2 year roadside assistance program.
If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
