Recommended Axle Replacement for Jayco Eagle 12 UDK
Question:
Got good advice on tire replacement on said popup yesterday from etrailer. Both tires worn badly on inside of tires, pointing to axle replacement. Axle was replaced 2006 by previous owner. Will included pictures of current tires and information from tag on axle. Hope this will be enough information to let me know type of axIe I will need to get. I think this is a torflex suspension because I have no leaf springs. Repair shop asked me what the weight rate was on the axle, I have no idea. Weight of trailer is 1680 pounds for the eagle 12 UDK. Width of trailer is 7’-11”. Length is 24’

For your Jayco Eagle 12 UDK trailer, we only have the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension systems as replacements for your torsion axles whether they are the Dexter Torflex or not.
These simply mount to your frame and use a 2 inch square tube (not included) between the assemblies into the integrated holes for supports. The Aeon rubber is your suspension system and works very well to replace torsion axles and will help keep tire wear to a minimum.
I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System with Hubs - 2,000 lbs # A20RS545 if you have the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern on your wheels. If you have the 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern, then I recommend # A20RS440.
