Replacement 3,500 Lb Axle for a Boat Trailer with EZ Lube Spindles

Question:

I have a raft trailer with a 3500# 2 3/8inch diameter axle. It is not submersible. I need to buy a submersible axle and want a Dexter E-Z Lube. I looked at your website but dont see the size I need. Hub Face to Face is 61.75inch and the Spring Seat center to center is 46. I have lots of room horizontally so the hub length is not critical but the Leaf Spring center to center is. Is it possible to get a 3500# Dexter E-Z Lube axle this size? I have photos if you need to see them. Thanks

Most trailer axles have a weep hole if water gets into the shaft but the main concern is getting water in the hubs. This can usually be eliminated by using a double lip grease seal. If you can measure the grease seal or read the part numbers you have now then I would see if we have a replacement for you.

However, we do not have a standard axle in the measurements you provided. We do have the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System part # A35RS545 that will work as a replacement. This system has a a 3,500 lb capacity and EZ Lube spindles with hubs that accept wheels with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.

I have attached a review video of this system for you as well.
