I will be happy to get you the tires, brake assemblies and a weight distribution to replace the ones on your new acquired 1992 Airstream Excella. But first on some items I will need additional information to ensure I am recommending the correct products for you.
When researching, I looked up the trailer weights on Airstream Excella trailers, they have dry weights as much as 7100 pounds and tongue weights as much as 700 to 800 pounds. 8900 pounds is the maximum gross trailer weight. Please confirm these numbers with your owners manual.
Because of the size of your trailer, I wanted to make sure I recommended a product with sway control, allows backing up and will work with the fully loaded weight of your trailer. I recommend the Strait-Line Weight Distribution # RP66074. This system is rated to handle tongue weights between 600 lbs and 1,200 lbs, and has a gross towing weight up to 12,000 lbs. 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # 19286 and Reese Weight Dist Shank # RP66084 is recommended to go with this system.
In order to pick out the correct tire size to replace what you currently have you are going to need to know what size tire is on your trailer. There will be a size stamped on the side of the tire, if you check out the picture I attached you will see what it should look like. You may also find the size on a sticker or plate near the coupler for the trailer. Let me know the tire size and i'll make a specific recommendation.
In regards to replacing the brake assemblies, can you tell me the inside diameter and depth of your brake drums, and the number of holes in your brake mounting flange? I would be happy to recommend replacement brake assemblies for you.
If you were needing new brake drums, I could recommend replacements if you would provide the number of lugs and the dimension of the bolt circle and the reference numbers from the inner and outer bearings.
If you can provide me with this information I will help you complete your project.
