I spoke with my contact at Equal-I-zer and the opening in the socket for the 1,200 pound systems, # EQ90-03-1200, is 1-1/2 inches. If you are measuring 1-3/8 inches then you have the 1,000 pound system and # EQ90-03-1000 is the proper replacement.
