Brake Controller Install Harness Recommendation For 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
I had this controller on my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup. On that truck it just plugged into the top left hand corner of my fuse box. Can I use this same set up on my new 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500, by just plugging it into my fuse box the way it was installed in my old truck? Thank you for you help.

A 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 uses a different brake controller install harness from a 2006 model. You'd have to swap the harness for a part # 3016-S and you'd be set.
You'll need to splice the wires of the # 3016-S to the wires of your controller matching color for color and you'd be set.
