Will the Folded Up Kuat Transfer Bike Rack Clear the Back of a 2018 Subaru Legacy

Hi - I have a uhaul CQT75224 hitch rack on my legacy. The mount is below the bumper. Im looking for a folding platform bike rack - I am looking to see if the Kuat 2,0 Transfer would work. I am concerned there is enough distance to allow the rack to fold up without contacting the bumper. See the enclosed pic -

The hitch you have is actually a Draw-Tite hitch # 75673 for your 2018 Subaru Legacy. It looks like in your picture the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to clear the rear bumper is about 6 inches. That is consistent with what we have found when installing the hitch (see video link).
When folded up the Kuat Transfer # KU74FR measures 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the rack so it will not extend out far enough to clear the rear bumper on your Legacy.
The similar Hollywood Racks TRS, # HR3500, measures 6-1/2 inches from the pin hole to the nearest part of the rack when folded so it is a potential option.
The Kuat Sherpa 2.0, # SH22P, # SH22G, and # SH22B, measure 7-1/2 inches from pin hole to nearest part of the folded rack so if you like the Kuat racks these will clear the rear of the vehicle.
