For your tandem axle Sure-Trac ST8218TAT-B-070 car hauler trailer you will want to check the axle tags (stickers or plates right on the axles) to confirm their weight rating. Based on my research they are probably 3500-lb axles but it is good to check. And you will want to be sure to replace all four springs at the same time to avoid issues with uneven trailer tracking.
The best way to go is to pull one of the leaf springs out of the suspension so you can measure its eye-to-eye length when it is not under tension. Leaf springs can actually stretch a bit from use and so the dimension you find on one of your springs may be slightly longer than the dimensions of a correct new replacement spring.
On the page I linked for you click on your axle weight rating; then select a spring with the eye-to-eye dimension closest to yours. For instance, if your worn spring measures 25-3/4-inches from the center of one eye to the center of the other then it may actually have been a spring such as # e54SR which is 25-1/8-inches long.
Also please note that if you were to substitute a spring of the correct length that has a higher weight rating you will NOT increase the trailer's weight-carrying capacity and it may ride a bit rougher when unloaded.
