What Size Hardware is Needed to Mount Plastic Stem and Rubber Socket Door Holder # DH39R

Question:

I understand that the mounting hardware is not included, but I still need to know what is required to mount it. I assume a double threaded screw, but what size are the threads in the door holder? And do both the stem and socket have threads the same size? I am looking to replace the plastic door latch on a Little Guy Max trailer, which is very fragile and prone to break.

A coworker measured the center holes in the Plastic Stem and Rubber Socket Door Holder # DH39R and found they are 0.27 inches which is 7mm. I checked myself and got the same thing. The threads per inch on the other hand was difficult to measure. I estimated 16 threads per inch though so it would appear that it takes a 5/16"-16 fastener.

The plunger side I would just run a screw through that fits in the hole.
