Will Yakima Jaylow Kayak Carrier Fit Factory Crossbars of 2004 Toyota Highlander
Question:
Hi, I have a 2004 Toyota Highlander and was wondering if the Jaylow will be OK for the factory crossbars and rack that come standard with the Highlander or would I also need to buy the Yakima Rods and fixtures in addition to the Jaylow? I have a 10.5 FT Persception Hook Kayak so need to know so Im not wasting my money. please let me know and thank you in advance!

Yes, I checked with Yakima and the Yakima JayLow kayak carrier part # Y04073 that you mentioned is a confirmed fit for the factory crossbars of your 2004 Toyota Highlander so you would not need to install any additional crossbars.
I looked up the weight of your 10.5 FT Persception Hook and it appears to be 51 lbs which would not be a problem for the JayLow as it has an 80 lb capacity.
