When towing a vehicle, like your 2012 Honda CR-V, you need to make sure that the tow bar isn't 3" higher or lower than the center of your motorhome receiver. If your tow bar won't be within this range naturally you can actually use a tow bar adapter like part # RM-076 which has a 6" rise/drop to keep your tow bar as level as possible.
I have linked our selection of adapters as well as a helpful article that goes into more detail about how to choose the correct one for your application.
For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
